Ownership FAQs

What does it cost?

We are pleased to announce that Beachside Holiday Park will be price freezing all Pitch Fees for the 2024 season, in a bid to help our owners during the cost-of-living crisis the country currently faces. The pitch fee for a Caravan Holiday Home up to 32 feet long and 10 feet wide will be £3,500.00 plus VAT, there will be an extra charge for caravans which are 12 feet wide at £150.00 plus VAT and in excess of 32 feet in length £58.33 plus VAT per foot. These charges are for Pitch Fees, Rates, Water, and Sewerage and refuse disposal.

The pitch fees are subject to an annual increase.

Electricity and Gas are both metered and will be invoiced as used in September/October each year.

Can you help with finance?

We advise that you approach your Bank as interest rates are usually better through your bank.

What about Insurance?

Beachside Holiday Park is an Appointed Representative of Bspoke Lifestyle Ltd and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, FRN number 414328. Compass Insurance is a trading name of Bspoke Lifestyle Ltd, registered in England and Wales under Company Number: 11429456 at Registered address: 7 Pullman Court, Great Western Road, Gloucester GL1 3ND. Bspoke Lifestyle Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, FRN Number: 820727.

New for old cover is available to all, irrespective of the age of your unit. Cover for events such as accidental damage, fire, theft, storm, flood and vandalism is included as standard. An example of the new for old inclusive of insurance premium tax at the prevailing rate based on a structure sum insured of £18,000 and contents sum insured of £1,700 would be approximately £300.00. This indicated premium is subject to the full terms and conditions of the policy, supplied with a confirmed quotation from the park.

How long can my Caravan Holiday Home stay on site?

Each new caravan is sold with a 15 year Pitch Licence Agreement (to which terms apply). This ensures that the standard of the caravans on the Park is maintained. Used caravans are sold with the balance of the 15 year term. The length of term for each used and client owned caravan is explicitly advertised, with no further extensions available.

Many of our owners choose to part exchange and renew their Holiday Home before their Pitch Licence Agreement expires, taking advantage of a part-exchange and continuing to enjoy Holiday Home ownership at Beachside Holiday Park. If, however, you own the Holiday Home as it reaches the end of your Pitch Licence Agreement and you do not wish to continue with ownership you can either remove your caravan from site and the park will arrange for your caravan to be removed from the pitch and made available for collection by your chosen caravan transportation company. Additional costs to consider include a disconnection charge from your pitch and if you have a decking there will be a cost to dismantle it. Costs are available from our Reception. If you do not wish to take your caravan holiday home elsewhere we can remove the caravan from pitch at no extra costs to you.

In line with current quality guidelines caravans can stay on site for 15 years from new. In the case of a previously owned caravan this is worked out pro rata. E.g. A 2019 caravan purchased in 2022 would have an 12 year site life.

When can I use my caravan?

Beachside Holiday Park has an 11 month license; the park is open from mid-February until mid-January.

Are pets allowed on the Park?

Your pets are more than welcome. We do ask that whilst out and about on the park they are kept on a short lead at all times and any fouling is cleared away immediately. Once on the beach they may exercise freely. Please see our Woofers Guide.

Can I let my Caravan Holiday Home?

As off 22nd October 2017 – Commercial letting of your caravan holiday home is NOT PERMITTED.
